Nicholas is Diversion Media's Founder, President & CEO. He was formerly the President and Chief Executive Officer of The MTVi Group, a joint venture of Viacom and Liberty Media, from 1999-2002. At MTVi, he managed an international network of 18 music-related websites, including mtv.com, VH1.com, sonicnet.com, and all of MTV's international sites, reaching over 20 million users per month on a worldwide basis. Prior to MTVi, he was President & CEO of SonicNet, Inc., a leading independent music site founded in 1994. At both SonicNet and MTV, Nicholas garnered multiple awards for creative achievements, including two Webby awards, three Yahoo! Internet Life Music Awards, and the ASCAP Deems Taylor Award for music journalism. He served two terms as President of the Digital Media Association and played a leading role in the creation of the compulsory webcast licensing provisions of the DMCA. Nicholas is a graduate of Brown University.
