Mr. Kiene leads the company's long term strategic objectives and software development efforts around its Content Delivery Network.
Prior to joining Internap, Mr. Kiene served as Founder and CEO of Little Big Endian. In this role, he led the company's growth and development from a start-up software consulting firm to a thriving custom development services organization serving major software companies such as Microsoft, Apple and Adobe.
Previously, Mr. Kiene had served concurrently as Founder and CEO of eSellerate and MindVision Software. Mr. Kiene led the growth and strategic planning for both companies, specializing in software delivery systems and e-commerce solutions. MindVision's flagship product, Installer VISE, has long been the industry standard installer for Macintosh and is recognized as an excellent choice for Windows. Today, thousands of software companies rely on MindVision products to deliver professional, easy-to-use installers to their customers. Mr. Kiene piloted the successful sale of MindVision and eSellerate to Digital River in 2006.
Mr. Kiene has been featured in numerous print and online articles, has spoken at several conferences, and is a sought-after expert in management, software, networking, technology, e-commerceand product development. In 2000, Mr. Kiene was named one of the most influential executives in the Macintosh industry.
A vigorous philanthropist, Mr. Kiene established and serves as Executive Director of The Steve & Pamela Kiene Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping improve the lives of underprivileged and at-risk children in his home state of Nebraska.
