Colby Synesael joined Kaufman Bros., L.P. in February of 2009 as a senior analyst covering the telecom and data services and communications equipment sectors. He has spent his previous three years at Merriman Curhan Ford as an equity research analyst and senior vice president covering the telecom and data services industries. Prior to joining Merriman, Colby worked at Thomas Weisel Partners, including three years as a research associate covering telecom services and two co-covering enterprise applications and communications equipment. Before joining Weisel, Colby was a member of one the top sales offices at Allegiance Telecom. He holds a BS from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh and currently resides in New York City.
